Our lye soap is NOT lye heavy. It can be used as a face or body soap or shampoo bar (you might want to rinse with vinegar water after washing your hair).

Laundry, scalp problems, cleaning cement, eczema, lice, chigger bites, yellow jacket stings, poison ivy, acne. Most of our customers use lye soap because they have sensitive skin or allergies to skin care products.

Lavender Soap
Made with Croatian lavender essential oil. Lavender Croatian is credited with being an analgesic, anticonvulsive, antidepressant, antiphlogistic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericide, carminative, cholagogue, cicatrisant, cordial, cytophylactic, decongestant, deodorant, and as a diuretic. Herbalist regards Lavender as the most useful and versatile essential oil for therapeutic purposes. Lavender is the essential oil most commonly associated with burns and healing of the skin. It also has antiseptic and analgesic properties which will ease the pain of a burn and prevent infection. It also has cytophylactic properties that promote rapid healing and help reduce scarring.
Lemongrass Sage
Contains lemongrass and clary sage essential oils. Clary sage is viewed by aromatherapists as an antidepressant, and antispasmodic, deodorant, and as an agent to clean greasy hair. Clary Sage is not to be used during pregnancy. Lemongrass is said to be quite effective in treating skin disorders such as acne. It is the best remedy to combat the problem of excessive perspiration.
Lemongrass Tea Tree
Contains lemongrass and tea tree essential oils. Tea Tree oil is witnessing increasing demand owing to its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. The oil has a very woody, earthy aroma, which truly refreshes the mind and body.
Peppermint Tea Tree
Peppermint is widely credited with being a digestive aid. Peppermint leaves contain menthol, which is a proven aid to digestion. The familiar aroma of Mentha piperita is known for both its warming and cooling properties. Friendly to the sinuses, peppermint is also useful to the muscular system, especially for women during monthly cycles or menopause. Peppermint is commonly known from peppermint tea, chewing gum or candy, but the Essential Oil is much more strong and concentrated and should be used in moderation. Very fresh and clean smelling. Refreshing, mental stimulant, energizing, used to enhance well-being of digestive and respiratory system. Good nerve tonic that helps with mental fatigue and nervous stress.
